PRORANKTV – Live TV for language learners, from beginner to pro

PRORANKTV on an LG Smart TV, one language group at a time

An LG television runs webOS and installs everything from LG’s own store, so PRORANKTV needs no box and no sideloading here. Two players matter. Smart IPTV, which needs webOS 3.0 or later, reads the M3U link and shows the line-up as one list of groups, an arrangement that suits a learner who spends most evenings inside a single language. IPTV Smarters takes the Xtream Codes details where the store lists it and adds separate sections for movies and series. Set the TV up once, and the walk from the sofa to a German or Dutch channel is a few presses.

Before the first listening session

  • An LG Smart TV running webOS; webOS 3.0 or later for Smart IPTV
  • An LG account signed in on the television
  • Your PRORANKTV M3U link or Xtream Codes details from WhatsApp
  • A phone or laptop for the Smart IPTV upload

Still waiting for details? The PRORANKTV 24-hour trial sends a working login to WhatsApp in the same format as a paid term. Once it arrives, live TV sorted by language shows which groups to practice with.

7 steps to a working LG Smart TV

  1. Choose your player and login format

Read the webOS version on the TV information screen in Settings, which sits under General or Support depending on the year. With webOS 3.0 or newer, Smart IPTV is an option: it takes the M3U link and keeps each country’s channels together in one list. IPTV Smarters uses the Xtream Codes details and adds movies and series, where on-demand titles more often carry selectable subtitle tracks. A learner who mostly listens to live channels at a fixed hour will be happy with either.

    Choose a PRORANKTV plan

  2. Get the player from LG’s store

Press Home and open the store, labeled LG Content Store on older sets and Apps on recent ones, then use its search field. Some models keep the store closed until LG’s user agreements are accepted; those live in Settings, under General or Support. Install the player and open it once.

  3. IPTV Smarters: enter the login

Select the Xtream Codes login and fill in the username, the password and the server URL, including the http:// prefix and the port number. If your set came with a Magic Remote, point at each key rather than stepping across the keyboard with the arrows, and give the remote a small shake when the pointer fades. Confirm and wait while the channels and the guide arrive.

  4. Smart IPTV: hand the link to the TV

Smart IPTV identifies each television by a MAC address, shown on its opening screen. Copy that address onto paper, then use a phone or laptop to reach the upload page the app names. Give it the MAC and the M3U link from your WhatsApp chat, submit, and restart Smart IPTV on the television so the list loads. After its trial, the app asks for a one-time activation fee for that television.

  5. Put the player on the home bar

On the home bar, highlight the player’s tile and hold the select button until edit mode appears, then slide it to the front. If your model offers Quick Start+ in the general settings, turning it on shortens the time between pressing power and a working picture, which matters on a weekday morning.

  6. Sort the channels for practice

Open the group for your language and pick the channels you will really use. For German, ARD and ZDF are a sensible place to start, with RTL, Sat.1 and ProSieben for entertainment later; for Dutch, NPO 1 and RTL 4. In IPTV Smarters, add each to favorites. In Smart IPTV, the groups follow the playlist’s order, so note where your language sits. Two or three channels for each level of difficulty are enough to begin.

  7. Listen to one channel and check its options

Play the first channel on your list and leave it running through a change of speaker. Open the player’s playback menu and look for audio-track or subtitle options, if your player has them; most live channels carry one track. The TV’s own subtitle setting applies to its tuner, not necessarily to the player. Look at tomorrow’s guide entry for your practice hour, and the LG is ready.

6 hitches on the LG Smart TV, each with its fix

The store opens to a page of agreements and nothing else

LG’s store stays closed until the user agreements are accepted. Open Settings, then General or Support depending on the year, find User Agreements, read them and accept the ones the store needs. The search field then works normally.

Smart IPTV shows every channel in one endless group

The link that was uploaded did not carry group names. Ask support on WhatsApp for the version of your M3U link that includes them, upload it again against the same MAC address and restart Smart IPTV. Your language groups then appear separately.

Smart IPTV asks for activation after a few days

That is the app’s own trial ending, not your subscription. Smart IPTV charges its one-time fee per television, and the money goes to the app’s developer. To avoid it, install IPTV Smarters from the same store and sign in with the Xtream Codes details instead.

Channel numbers on the remote land on the wrong channel

In Smart IPTV, numbers follow the order of the playlist, which runs to thousands of entries, so a number rarely matches what you expect. Use your favorites or the group list rather than the number keys.

One channel plays but its guide row stays empty

A few channels send no schedule data at all, and they still play normally. If the whole guide is empty, refresh it from the player’s settings, or sign out and back in, which reloads the listings with the channel list. Allow a few minutes after the first sign-in before judging it.

The TV loses Wi-Fi after standby and the player shows an error

Give the television a few seconds to reconnect before opening the player. If the error returns every evening, a network cable from the router removes the problem, and a wired TV also starts streaming faster when you sit down to practice.

Still stuck after these? PRORANKTV faults that are not tied to one device covers the general ones, and a picture of the error message, taken on your phone and sent to WhatsApp, saves describing it.

Questions about PRORANKTV on the LG Smart TV

Does PRORANKTV work on LG TVs?

Yes. LG Smart TVs run webOS, and PRORANKTV signs into a player from LG’s own store: Smart IPTV on webOS 3.0 or later, or IPTV Smarters where it is listed. No box is needed. If the TV is too old for either, a Google TV device or a Fire OS stick in a free HDMI port works instead.

Which LG TVs can run Smart IPTV?

Smart IPTV needs webOS 3.0 or later, which you can confirm on the TV information screen in Settings. On those sets it takes your PRORANKTV M3U link through its upload page. Older LG televisions can still use IPTV Smarters if the store lists it, or a streaming stick on a spare HDMI input.

Why does Smart IPTV on my LG TV ask for a fee?

Because Smart IPTV is a paid app after its trial, with a one-time activation fee for each television, paid to its developer. It is separate from your PRORANKTV plan and buys you only the player. If you prefer not to pay it, IPTV Smarters from the same store takes your Xtream Codes details at no charge.

Can an LG TV show subtitles on PRORANKTV channels?

Sometimes. Subtitles appear on a live channel only if the broadcaster sends them and the player can display them, which many channels do not. The TV’s subtitle setting does not override the player. On-demand titles in IPTV Smarters more often carry selectable subtitle tracks, and you will find them in the playback menu.
